The dealership opened in February 1964 as Don Joseph Chrysler Plymouth

Through the years:

February 1964: When Don Joseph opened the doors of Don Joseph, Inc. in 1964, he did so with the help of eight employees, within five months the number of employees
doubled. The space was small, but the rent was high. For $550.00 per month the lot was only big enough to park the employee's cars and the used cars. New cars were kept
on a lot down the street at Parson's Lumber. Customer's cars were parked along the streets at parking meters.

D.J. chuckled when he recalled those days forty eight years ago. "Everyone carried nickels in their pockets", he explained, "we just kept checking the meters and feeding them
nickels". After eighteen months of feeding meters and hundreds of dollars' worth of parking tickets, it was time to admit success and move on. This is when the property at
1127 West Main Street was purchased.

1966: The new and improved Don Joseph Chrysler Plymouth was opened.

1969: Don Joseph signed the contract with his new added franchise, "Toyota".

1974: The building, busting at the seams with a need for growth, brought the addition to the building.

1982 ? Don Joseph Chrysler Plymouth was no longer. This franchise changed to Don Joseph Chevrolet. A new growth spurt began. With the addition of Chevrolet a separate
building is erected to house the Toyota Showroom, Don Joseph's office and three wash bays. The lot was extended back to the current wall.

1987: Don Joseph steps down as president and begins retirement. A new president was put into place, his son, Jeff Joseph.

1989: In conjunction with Don Joseph Inc.'s Silver anniversary the new Toyota facility opens and Chevrolet trucks sales move into the old Toyota building. The lot size nearly
doubled in space.

1994: Don Joseph Inc.'s 30th anniversary brings a newly remodeled showroom and a new customer lounge.

1997: Expansion of Toyota building, four service bays two clean up bays and an automatic car wash.

1999: Chevrolet franchise was sold to Montrose Auto Group. Jeff Joseph made the decision to become a standalone Toyota Dealer.

2003: Scion, meaning "descendant of" is added to Don Joseph, Inc. and a new employee is added?.Jessica Joseph, third generation of the Joseph family, Jeff's daughter.

2008: Property is purchased on Stonewater Drive for more parking of new vehicles.

2009: The expansion of the current building is finished.
