Happy Friday everyone!  I am not sure about you but this week kicked my butt and I am happy that we are going into the weekend.  Of course we're open tomorrow for your shopping convenience but the weekend still means Sunday.  And this Sunday is special because it's Mother's Day!  I am really looking forward to spending time celebrating M-O-M.

I am pleased to let everyone know that we are revamping our Finance/Business Department at the store.  When the announcement came that I would start as General Manager my focus shifted to areas of the store that I thought could use improvement.  One of those areas included our Finance/Business Department.

With the events of this week unfolding in Boston, I am reminded that life is precious and that we (I) shouldn't take our family members and friends for granted.  My heart hurt the day of the bombing during the Boston Marathon.  I like to run and stay fit myself, and I know that running the Boston Marathon is a life-goal fulfilled for many runners on Monday.  It is very tragic that the dream turned?
